ADELAIDE DAY

Founder

Adelaide is a proud trans woman, creative visionary, writer, musician, and the heart behind the Rainbow Connections Foundation. A successful entrepreneur and international business owner, she is dedicated to supporting nonprofits that serve the LGBTQ+ community. Leveraging her extensive network of creative professionals, she is marshaling a project that aims to create space for queer brilliance to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

“Throughout my life, I was always searching for a cure to the incredible pain I felt due to my gender dysphoria. Even with the success of my business and living a life that created a picture of happiness for others to see, I was unable to experience the joy and freedom of living authentically. This was due to my intense internalized phobias against being feminine. Working with a therapist and beginning my medical gender transition has been incredibly beneficial to me. I can personally attest to how essential and life-saving this care is, and I now have so much joy and passion for my life!”

Ms. Day has launched a production company focused on top‐tier storytelling that counters the divisive narratives and myths about the LGBTQ+ community through true stories, humanization, and fact-based research. In parallel with the documentary, she is establishing a foundation to carry this work forward by supporting organizations that provide critically essential care to LGBTQ+ youth. What began as a creative production company is now blossoming into a philanthropic movement rooted in impact, empathy, and evolution.

NIC D'AMICO

Director / Photographer

Born in Trieste, Italy, to an Italian father and Croatian mother, D’Amico was immersed in art from the beginning. He later studied at The Cooper Union in New York, focusing on photography and painting while experimenting at the intersection of the two disciplines. Launching his own studio in Philadelphia, D’Amico began with headshots and brochures before quickly rising to national advertising campaigns for Nike, New Balance, Adidas, and other leading brands. His innovative Photoshop techniques—blending scanned film with digital clarity—earned his studio recognition for imagery that was both technically advanced and aesthetically distinct.

At NFL Films, D’Amico expanded his expertise into motion storytelling, serving as part of a select roster of directors trusted with non-league advertising assignments. There, he merged a photographer’s eye with cinematic craft, honing skills in color correction, compositing, and motion graphics. In 2009, NFL Films tapped him to direct a Super Bowl commercial, underscoring his ability to deliver high-profile campaigns at the intersection of sports, storytelling, and advertising. Whether rigging actors on rooftops or coordinating stuntmen leaping from helicopters for Jordan Brand, D’Amico became known for transforming ambitious creative concepts into flawless executions.
